Packaging glass is made from natural raw materials, such as sand, limestone and soda, as well as from packaging collected in the ecopoint networks and rejects from the production process, called cullet or recycled glass.
Glass is a 100% and infinitely recyclable material. It is the most recycled packaging material on our planet, since ancient times. By recycling it, we are reducing material extraction and contributing to less waste disposal in landfills, as well as reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
It’s very easy to give glass packaging a new life: just put it in the bottle bank or the nearest recycling bin, and it can be recycled as part of a new production process, thus closing its life cycle.
